Supermarkets to sell asthma inhalers over the counter.
Asthma inhalers will go on sale in supermarkets for the first time this month, allowing sufferers to get the medicine without seeing their doctor.
Asda said it would start selling blue reliever inhalers over the counter without prescription from Tuesday.
Customers over 16 will be able to buy two inhalers for £7 instead of the normal prescription charge of £7.65.

It will either save a few lives (because of the nasty crap and humidity) or the inhalers could consist of more than just albuterol, like a special eugenics preparation to spread some new horrible disease.
And why do we in the US have to pay almost fifty bucks a piece for those crappy inhalers, when you get them so cheap in the UK?
We get them on prescription for nothing in most parts of the UK due o the National Health Service and the fact that we dont have all these big drug companiesl, health insurance organisations ripping people off and looking after no one but themselves. If the Americans would take Obamacare inio consideration you would be a lot better off healthwise and people wouldnt bne bnegging for money for pain pills. siorry but thts how I see it – I have lived in the US so know a little bit about it. I have seen the negative and the positve sides as well as the negative and positives with our health service but. for being free to everyone at the point of service -you cant beat it.
Yep, that’s it.
Ventolin over time is bad for the thyroid. Do not get hooked on it. Long daily walks or something similar will do the trick.
Wow..now there is someone who knows nothing about asthma!
